We build eyewear worth keeping
Three frames, nine colourways, and a guarantee that outlives the trend cycle. This is how Netto is put together, and why.
Most sunglasses are built to be replaced. Ours are not. Every frame is cut from plant based acetate, hand polished over three days, and backed for as long as you own it. Fewer than one pair in fifty ever comes back.
An end to disposable eyewear
The eyewear industry runs on replacement. New shapes every season, hinges that give out a summer later, a lens coating that lifts the first time it meets a coat pocket.
We would rather sell one pair that lasts than five that do not. Fewer frames, made properly, in colours worth keeping for years instead of a season.
Make the good version the obvious one
High-end Tritan lenses, UV400 filtering and stainless steel hinges are standard on every pair we make. Not a tier, not an upgrade, not a line item at checkout.
Every frame is cut from plant based acetate and hand polished over three days before it leaves the workshop, then backed for as long as you own it.
Who is behind Netto
Draws every frame and argues about half a millimetre until it sits right. Believes a good pair should disappear on the face rather than announce itself.
Chases the acetate, the hinges and the lenses. Holds opinions about polishing time that most manufacturers find excessive, which is rather the point.
Gets the boxes out of the door and answers the emails behind them. Keeps the guarantee a promise you can use rather than a policy you have to read.
Built to be kept, not replaced
Three frames, nine colourways, one guarantee. Start where most people do.
